Buying Books!

Thank you for visiting Authors Answer! We hope you’ve discovered some new-to-you authors and that you’re now chomping at the bit to add some of those titles to your to-be-read pile! Or maybe you discovered some titles that would make a great gift for Aunt Julie’s birthday? Or for Father’s Day? Or maybe for your spouse? FANTASTIC!

The best way to get any of the books you’ve learned about here is to buy them directly from your favorite independent bookseller! Not sure if there’s one in your neck-of-the-woods? Check out IndieBound for a list of booksellers near you. Or you can order via Bookshop which gives a percentage of their sales to independent booksellers. If neither of those options work for you, consider ordering the book directly from the publisher or check the author’s website for the best ways to purchase their books! Alternatively, you can certainly order from the bigger purveyors of books [Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.]. And yes, you can always check in with your local library, and if they don’t have the book you’re looking to read, ask them to buy it!
